Suren’s shows have been well received by audiences and critics alike, with top reviews and encore performances due to popular demand.  His comedy, which draws on his experiences as an Australian with Sri Lankan heritage, has been described as insightful, charming, on-point and personable, and most importantly, hilarious.  It’s politically savvy and playful, carefully blending the topical with the ridiculous.

In 2020, Suren was a participant in AFTRS and Screen Australia’s National Talent Camp for emerging diverse writers. His sketch ‘Radical Honesty‘ (co written with Neilesh Verma) featured at the 2021 Equity Foundation’s prestigious Diversity Showcase.
